The Transportation Department of the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is seeking an Air Quality Planner I or II to assist with the creation and implementation of strategies to support the transition to cleaner transportation fuels, optimize the integration of cleaner transportation with the energy sector, and develop a regional air quality improvement plan. A successful candidate should have interest in reducing the environmental impacts of transportation using alternative fuel vehicles, with emphasis on zero-emission vehicles. This position will support work of the Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities Coalition (www.dfwcleancities.org) and work is highly collaborative, working not only within the NCTCOG team, but also with external stakeholders, including local government staff, fleets, citizen groups, associations, and industry representatives.
