The Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission (SNHPC) is seeking to hire either an Associate Planner or Regional Planner, dependent on experience.

We are looking for a planner who has a good understanding of planning topics including housing, transportation, water resources and water protection, economic development, climate change and hazard mitigation, land use regulations and zoning, sustainability and other land use topics. Candidates should be able to successfully conduct research and analytics, be able to multi-task and manage programs, be skilled in writing and presenting materials, and creating and conducting education and outreach programs. As land use planning covers a wide range of topics, an important attribute of the successful candidate is to demonstrate self-motivation and a clear interest to learn about new topics.
