Program Coordinator III – RideOn
Emerald Coast Regional Council is one of ten regional councils in the state of Florida. The Emerald Coast Regional Council is seeking a Program Coordinator III to manage and support the RideOn program under the supervision and guidance of the Marketing and Outreach Director. The role is instrumental in promoting sustainable commuting options, managing program operations, and building partnerships to reduce single-occupant vehicle travel, alleviate traffic congestion, and improve air quality.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops, implements, coordinates, promotes, and evaluates the RideOn program to increase participation and ensure compliance with program contracts and regulations
- Identifies challenges and opportunities, recommending short- and long-term strategies to enhance program effectiveness and achieve goals; contributes to performance objectives and monitors plans to ensure desired outcomes
- Tracks expenditures, provides fiscal insights, and makes budget recommendations to management; assists in budget preparation as needed
- Prepares and reviews monthly progress reports and invoices, ensuring accurate data on participation, outcomes, and compliance
- Designs and executes outreach plans and marketing campaigns, leveraging social media, events, and community partnerships to promote commuter services and increase program participation
- Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with employers, educational institutions, local governments, and community organizations to promote and implement commuter services programs tailored to their needs
- Collaborates with internal departments and external transportation providers to align program goals with regional planning efforts and integrate the program with existing public transportation options
- Develops and delivers engaging presentations, workshops, and outreach events to educate diverse audiences about commuter options, including carpooling, vanpooling, transit, and telecommuting
- Creates educational materials, provides technical support to stakeholders, and serves as the primary point of contact for inquiries, ensuring high-quality customer service and program accessibility
- Oversees the ride-matching platform, ensuring user-friendly functionality, accurate data tracking, and technical support for participants to enhance commuter connections and program impact
- Manages and updates the program website to ensure accessibility and relevance, integrating performance metrics and user feedback to optimize digital outreach efforts
- Oversees and promotes the RideOn toll-free hotline phone and the Emergency Ride Home (ERH) program, providing accessible support and reliable service for program participants

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, program management or related field
- Five (5) or more years’ program coordination experience
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Proven experience in marketing, communications, and public outreach
- Proven ability to establish partnerships and foster collaborative relationships
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with digital engagement tools
- Experience with graphic design tools and website content management systems
- Experience working with local government entities or transportation-related programs
