The Transportation Department of the North Central Texas Council of Governments is seeking an entry- or mid-level Transportation Planner to support implementation and management of short-term transit projects including grant/financial management. This position will work with public and private transportation providers, local governments, communities, and other stakeholders. In addition, responsibilities include preparing presentations, correspondence, documentation, articles, and reports. The North Central Texas Council of Governments is currently permitting employees to work a hybrid schedule that consists of the equivalent of a minimum of two days per week in the NCTCOG offices in Arlington, Texas, and three days remotely from home within the Dallas-Fort Worth Region.

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is a voluntary association of, by and for local governments, and was established to assist local governments in planning for common needs, cooperating for mutual benefit, and coordinating for sound regional development.
