Seeking a qualified consultant to complete a connectivity plan to analyze multi-modal accessibility of residential and commercial neighborhoods for the SR 66 corridor from US 41 to Epworth Rd. This analysis will guide the development of pedestrian and bicycle networks that include recommended SR 66 and other major arterial crossing locations and promote safe and comfortable conditions for all modes. The recommendations in the plan will be used to assist with prioritizing investments on both the local and State systems for coordinated implementation.
The recommendations will coordinate with concurrent planning and project development plans to develop a multi-modal transportation vision that maintains and promotes a balanced, complete, safe, and integrated transportation system that meets the needs for all travel modes (automobile, transit, cycling and walking), while also supporting sustainable development patterns.
The plan deliverables include, but are not limited to, the identification of the most feasible options, abbreviated environmental review, cost estimates, prioritization of improvements, and a review of potential funding alternatives including Grant opportunities with sufficient data and support documentation for grant applications.
