Mission
AMPO established the Performance Based Planning & Programming Working Group in 2014 with support from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The group’s objectives included providing a forum for transportation planners to exchange information, sharing effective practices as well as planning challenges, and learning about federal initiatives, rules, and guidance.
After several years of meetings, the group was discontinued. The white paper that it produced is shared on this page under Resources & Research as a source of information for the MPO community.
