Committee Member Applications Open September 16th!
The Board of Directors shall be served by two standing committees of the Association: The Policy Committee and the Technical Committee. Each committee shall consider issues and topics important to the operation of the Association and its members and shall make recommendations for action by the Board of Directors. Each committee member serves at the pleasure of the Board of Directors.
Committee Chair & Vice-Chair
In addition to normal voting duties, leadership meets monthly with AMPO Staff, leads Committee meetings, and helps in new member orientation.
Voting members serve for 3-year terms, with a 3-term limit. They also meet at a minimum quarterly, moderate sessions at AMPO events and may serve as working group liaison, rapid responder, or moderate coffee chats.
Ex-officio members serve for 3-year terms, with no term limit. They also meet at a minimum quarterly, help in new member orientation, and mentor Emerging Professionals.
Emerging Professionals serve for 3-year terms, with a 1-term limit. They also meet at a minimum quarterly and must have less than 8 years of professional experience.
