Job description:

This position will oversee the MPO’s Transportation Improvement Program (TIP and the Locally Administered Projects Program (LAPP). This position will serve as the MPO’s TIP Administrator and Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and coordinate with the NCDOT to process TIP/STIP Amendments and development of new Transportation Improvement Programs. This position will also manage and coordinate federally funded, locally administered transportation projects through planning, engineering, project selection, programming, project development, and completion and acceptance stages for the Capital Area MPO. Work is performed under the general supervision of a Deputy Director.

This position is based out of the CAMPO offices. This position may be eligible for partial telework schedule after the successful completion of an initial probationary period.
