Assistant Transportation Demand Management Coordinator
Position – Full Time with Benefits
Hiring Range – $60,000–$65,000, based on relevant experience

Land of Sky Regional Council is seeking an Assistant Transportation Demand Management Coordinator. Working closely with the Community Mobility Manager, the Assistant Coordinator will focus particularly on residential, business, and community-based outreach. The Assistant Coordinator will also provide technical support for the program through Geographic Information Systems (GIS), mapping, data collection, grant administration, reporting, and program evaluation. This position offers an opportunity to combine community engagement, some transportation planning, communications, technical mapping skills, and program administration to improve mobility and quality of life throughout Western North Carolina.
While the Community Mobility Managers provides leadership for the overall TDM program and maintains a strong focus on employer, workplace, and campus-based transportation initiatives, the Assistant Transportation Demand Management Coordinator will provide complementary support with a particular emphasis on:
- Residential and community-based outreach;
- GIS, mapping, and transportation information resources;
- Grant administration and reporting;
- Data collection and program evaluation; and
- Supporting the implementation and expansion of regional TDM initiatives.
