Posting Date

RFP Description
Clean Air Council is seeking proposals from qualified transportation engineering and planning consultants to conduct pedestrian, bicycle, and public transportation studies at three colleges in the Greater Philadelphia region.
The selected consultant will assess transportation conditions at three institutions of higher education in Philadelphia, Delaware, and Bucks Counties and identify opportunities to make it safer, easier, and more convenient for students, faculty, and staff to walk, bike, and use public transportation on and around their campuses.
The work will include evaluating existing pedestrian, bicycle and public transit infrastructure; identifying safety hazards and barriers to getting around without a car; assessing accessibility; engaging campus stakeholders; and developing recommendations for infrastructure improvements, policies and programs.
Findings and recommendations from the studies will help inform a University Toolkit for each participating college, providing strategies for improving transportation safety, accessibility, sustainability, and connectivity.
