Senior or Principal Transportation Engineer

The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and experienced professional to become our newest Senior or Principal Transportation Engineer. This position is responsible for planning and engineering activities within the Transportation Planning Department and reports to the Director of Transportation Planning.  This position will manage corridor studies, federal funding programs, and special projects with a focus on highway, traffic, and safety; oversee project selection, contract administration, and consultant activities; consult with municipal engineers and public works staff and provide technical assistance on transportation engineering matters; and conduct project traffic analyses and concept development for transportation improvements.

Part-time candidates will be considered. A part-time position (approximately 21 hours/week) would receive an hourly rate based on the salary ranges above and would not be eligible for CRCOG’s benefits package.
