The Southeast Metropolitan Planning Organization (SEMPO) is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to assist in the development of our next Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). The selected consultant will work closely with SEMPO staff and stakeholders to create a comprehensive, multimodal transportation plan that addresses the region’s long-term transportation needs, including considerations for sustainability, equity, and emerging technologies. The consultant will be responsible for data analysis, public engagement, scenario planning, and ensuring the MTP complies with federal, state, and local regulations. Proposals should demonstrate expertise in transportation planning, stakeholder coordination, and innovative approaches to regional mobility.
All proposal responses are due Friday, October 11, 2024.
